The Microtest Group thus confirms its leadership in test systems and microchip testing services on package and silicon wafer.
From an industrial perspective, the entry of ipTEST will bring further development to the Microtest Group for the testing of silicon carbide and gallium nitride semiconductors, the frontier semiconductors for batteries, electric motors and inverters with expected growth of over 30% annually in the next five years due to the ongoing energy transition.
By this new acquisition, it will be possible to serve power microchip manufacturers who are completing large investments to meet the new requirements of the leading producers in this sector.
